Indorama Petrochemical plans to shut its 700,000 tonne/year PTA plant in Mab Ta Phut, Thailand next week for repairs. The PTA unit was restarted on Wednesday after an unscheduled three-day shutdown because of some technical problems. The plant, which is currently running at 80-90%, would be shut again for five to six days to facilitate additional repair works.
